BlueTooth at Work

BTLib package is a J2ME Bluetooth library useful when developing applications for Java, Bluetooth enabled mobile devices. The other packages are individual applications utilizing BTLib.

Mobile Control Suite

The Mobile Control suite is built to allow a sort of pc remote control application. A typically usage is remote control of applications such as Winamp or Powerpoint with a bluetooth enabled Java mobile.

The suite consists of

  • a MobileControl Midlet - the J2ME Control Midlet
  • a MobileControl Application - the PC application enabling remote control

Mobile Trail Explorer

Mobile Trail Explorer is an application where user can view and record tracks using the mobile phone and GPS device. Recorded tracks can be exported in KML format so that they can be viewed in Google Earth application. Mobile Trail Explorer is mainly targeted for recording biking, hiking etc. trails.

Software runs on Java platform so it is supported by many mobile phones. It is required that mobile phone supports Bluetooth connections (JSR 82) for GPS and File connection (JSR 75) for exporting trails to kml files.

ValhallaChat - IM for bluetooth devices

Valhalla Chat is aBluetooth Instant Messenger (IM), that provides a common messaging platform for mobile phones, desktop computers and PDA’s.

MicroLog - logger for Java ME

MicroLog is is a small logging library for Java ME (J2ME) like Log4j. It has support for logging to console, file, RecordStore, Canvas, Form, Bluetooth, a serial port (Bluetooth, IR, USB), Socket(incl SSL), UDP, Syslog, MMS, SMS, e-mail or to Amazon S3.

Microlog is licensed under The Apache Software License, Version 2.0 so it is possible to link and distribute commercial software with this library.
